hey there…
we have about a month left before we start recording our album in baltimore with our homeboy brian mcternan. excitement really isn’t the word. right now there is a dry erase board hanging in our living room with the list of songs we are preparing for the studio…. it’s gonna be a task trying to cut songs. as of right now we have twice as many songs as we should for an album. in the film “true romance,” the main character clarence is talking about his gun and says “i’ve learned it’s better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it.” i suppose thats the same with all these extra songs. except for way less blood. word.

Well dont be afraid to record the songs that you guys love, as opposed to the songs you think everybody else is going to.

you could always record all of them, make your cd with the songs you want to put on it, and then give the rest of them to us for free. heheheh.

yeah I know exactly what you’re saying. Well I definitely can’t wait for you next album me and my whole group. We love your music and are inspired by you guys, is there any tips that you can give us? We’re trying to get our band out there also. We’re planning on doing gigs down here in Junction City, Kansas. It would be great if you guys could get booked down here somehow. Is there something you could say to give the rest of the guys inspiration? So that we all get really focused and actually work on our music. We were working on a song not that long ago, it was going fine until we had to move our band practice spot. Is there any tips you can give us to help us get out there? I mean it would be hella awesome to play with you guys on stage. We’ll be having a video put up on our band site by next weekend, its a cover song of Chiodos though. I would attempt your guys’ songs, but a little too high for me to reach in vocals lol. Well it’d be awesome if you could write to me somehow, and I hope you guys all the best on the next album.

You know…I think my heart may have skipped a beat when I saw the new entry page. Indeed, there are no words to describe…this? It’s more than excitement…something like it, but bigger. Better.
You kids have changed my life. That sounds so corny and cliche, but it’s the truest thing I know. I can’t wait to hear the new album. I know when choosing the tracklist you’ll follow your hearts and not the trends.

I saw the new entry page, and I was enthralled.
You guys have made the most inspiring music I have ever heard. Your music has helped me out so much, and now when i found out that you guys are coming out with a new album, I was so happy.

yea…why not a 2 disc set??? we all have been waiting for so long now that it just feels like 1 disc wouldnt be enough. go ahead and record all the songs and release them as one ginormous double disc.

having more than enough songs is necessary because some may not represent the vision of the record, so maybe the songs aren’t complementary to each other, therefore, excluding the possiblity of a two disc set

This journal is setup exactly like the thrice studio journal…which hopefully means this one will be just as amazing. This is my favorite part of the music of modern day…the anticipation.

Yo, Just record all of the tracks and make a dual disc. Sell it for $1,000 because I’ll probably still buy it. You can never have too many songs, at least not when you’re CS.

i’ve got a giant boner in anticipation for this album. a cried a little while reading your blogs, because i’m jealous, and it just occurred to me that you probably won’t read this but it makes me feel better i guess. maybe it’s the concentration on each little keystroke instead of thinking about how you guys live in a house together, make music all day, let alone stop animation films, and play in fields by castles. everyday i’m stuck in high school from 8 to 3 while all i really ever want to do is create music. it sings to me. i’ll be sad if i can’t find the break i need to make it to where you are. i will try hard. i’m not really sure who i’m typing to anymore. i want to start a journal but don’t have the patience to really sit down and write one. i love walking after dark down main street because nobody is out. i live in a small town, but it’s the best small town there is. ever. i did something for the first time the other night… actually it was probably a month and a half ago, but i just thought of it. i watched the moon set. it was just when the sun and moon are all screwed up and it was only 11:30 at night. you can see the stars here like in a movie. the moon was so bright orange and it smiled at me. smiled at us. i love you most, circa survive. i wish you would leave a message on our myspace that says you love me too, even if you don’t mean it. myspace.com/eliphaz. if you get this. i guess that’s probably wishful thinking. i gave you a baby face. now you know.

It looks as though this is the first post on this webpage. Just thought I’d comment on it to see how this thing works. Was curious to see if you guys get a notification of all the comments on the page. If you do I guess I might get an email from one of you. Maybe a clever way of hearing from a member of circa survive or may not.
Love your music, my favourite band. Have your music on my mp3 most of the time because its a silly small capacity one and have to change music on it often but you guys stay on it most of the time =] Going to upgrade soon.
Very happy I found Circa Survive, most enjoyable music ever.
