Circa Survive

Huge Invisible Children News.

As many of you know we’ve been working with Invisible Children to try to end the war in Uganda where children are being forced to fight as child soldiers and we wanted to bring attention to a HUGE event.

On APRIL 25th in 100 cities across the world people will be gathering for an event called The RESCUE that is going to raise attention to both media and governments in all sorts of different countries. The momentum from the events will be used to motivate and encourage these governments to support the rescuing of the child soldiers by arresting the rebel leader Joseph Kony.

This is a very important time in this struggle and as unbelievable as it sounds this could actually bring a lot of these hardships to a close. We know a lot of you have already taken part in this and that’s amazing. Whether you’re familiar with the situation or not, please watch this film to learn more about why we need to get these kids home and how you can help.

Watch the film here!

thanks everyone,
circa

I watched the movie and I will not lie I teared up many times.

I’m glad you guys posted this on here. I probably would have never heard about this if I didn’t see it here. This is a very worth while cause and the violence and cruelty must be stopped. I can’t understand how the world can sit back and watch this happen. If those countries had huge oil reserves I’m sure the United States would have been there years ago. It’s truely sickening that our government can allow these things to go on when they could easily do something about it. I’m trying to use facebook to recruit people to join but it only allows me to invite 20 people a day, which is rediculous. Something should be done about that. Anyways thank you guys for using your fame to spread the word about this. It makes me think even more highly of you. I’m planning on getting a new tattoo dedicated to circa survive very soon. Any suggestions on what I should get, directly from the band, would be amazing.

They do all this because they believe some skank was possesed by a spirit that told her to overthrow the government?! Ridiculous. This is a disgusting display of inhumanity. Why do so many kill in the name of religion?

I was really happy to see Geoff Rickley of Thursday sporting his Invisible Children shirt at Taste of Chaos in San Antonio today. An absolute great cause to say the least, as Uganda desperately needs some sort of government intervention. Arrest that bastard Kony and put him on trial!!! No child should ever be subjected to this horrific, inhumane way of life in which killing innocent people is deemed glorious. Keep up the good work guys. Can’t wait to hear the new stuff.
