I’m really fond of Taking Back Sunday’s ‘New Again’. It’s interesting to see how much they matured. theres a lot of other great albums of ‘09 but that one sticks out in my mind the most. That and A Rocket to the Moon’s ‘On Your Side’ because it reminds me of my girlfriend so much. I’m SO excited to hear this new piece from you guys!

yeah grizzly and AC and Dirty projectors were like actually my 3 fav albums, that really seems to be a trend amongst people but i won’t let that deter me! it’s incredible music.

what YOU should know is that i think circa survive really ranks among bands like that and should get attention on pitchfork and whatnot! i dont know if you guys care…but i really think the whole indie world could be more receptive to things rooted in emo tradition and such. Not that you guys really are…you’re like fully progressive and your own thing in my opinion. And that is why i think you rank amongst those bands! all of them have developed their own sound completely, and that is what you guys have done. Your music is fucking beautiful it changed my life.

<3 new record ASAP please :]

  64. Dylan Spader Says:

anthony, it was nice meeting you at your show the other night. i was the one that you said brought the fine looking ladies to your show. the autograph you did for my brother was probably the best christmas gift a kid could want, thanks for making his day. i hope you guys all have a nice holiday and can’t wait to hear what’s to come in the next year.

    But my absolute favorites:

    HORSE the Band- Desperate Living
One of my favorite artists period. Redundant. It’s like this emotional whirlpool where everything is so natural and pained and happy. Like every other emmotional album out there, yeah. But they do it damn well. I should be describing it much better.

    Magnolius- Mary Musth
I just discovered this independent rap duo a couple months ago. They have the whole album online; take a peek if you’d like. Very messy but soo nice.

man… you guys and dredg are as abstract as simple music can get
as tall as lions are phenomenal as well… his vioce reminds me of anthony’s as well… not the sound but the tone… the dragging lulls at the end… and the constant effective context along with the tone is what makes your lyrics so much more powerful
