Siren Records has reopened it’s doors!
One of the happiest days in quite a while was this past thursday when I was able to walk through the doors that we’re bolted shut for the past 3 weeks. We’re not completely out of the woods yet as the store is still dealing with legal and moving expenses but the worst is over.
EVERYONE WHO HELPED, GIVE YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK!
with that said we still have a few of the limited shirts John Gourley did for us and we will still be releasing Drew of Dredg’s shirt hopefully this week. we will be leaving the b-side up for download until Siren moves into their new location on september 1st.
thanks again everyone, it just shows what is truly possible with love and positivity.

this is the letter Siren sent out to their mailing list.
“Hello.
This morning, Thursday, July 17, we re-opened our doors, thanks to all of the help from our good friends and loyal customers. The plan is to stay here in our current location until the beginning of September and then move to a location right around the corner (and onto ground level again).
Thanks again for all of your support, both emotionally and financially. We really couldn’t have done this without all of you. It restores one’s faith in mankind and makes all of us feel like we’re in a Frank Capra film. Keep an eye out for more blogs, bulletins and emails containing updates on our progress and news of sales and specials.
Sincerely,
Siren Records”

This is extremely important so I will get straight to the point. Our favorite record store has been shut down and needs our help so they can move and open a new store. Siren Records has not only been a huge supporter of indie music for more than 20 years now but served as a safe and positive environment for the youth of our community to go and learn about all types of art, films, music and literature. To be completely honest, the store was a big part of what attracted us to live in Doylestown, PA to begin with.
With that said, “The Most Dangerous Commercials” is another B-side from On Letting Go. Please download it for a donation and help us save one of many independent stores that are in danger of being extinct. If you cant afford it tell someone who can. If you can afford more then the minimum, then we strongly encourage you to do so.

Watch a video of us playing “In Fear and Faith” in Siren Records on June 17, 2007.

If you wish to donate directly to Siren Records (without downloading), you can do so at Siren Records’ MySpace Page.

been in Hawaii since tue, and am lucky enough to have completely lost track of time. staying in up country maui in a beautiful town called haiku. yesterday drove around the hana highway which is the scariest, windiest, windy and most beautiful road ive ever been on. stopped at a few waterfalls on the way to Waianapanapa Beach where there is black sand and lava tubes. local kids guided a trail that led through violently rough crystal clear water and out to a large lava rock formation were we climbed about 35 to 40 feet up this huge vertical rock then jumped off the right hand side back into the ocean. standing on top of that rock was so terrifying ….and freeing like you never think you’ll really feel- like a falling dream - like i imagine the moment before you die feels - the current was so strong, i could barely maneuver myself -i was in the water but felt like i was on fire-it was surreal - eventually got thrown up against the rocky shore and laid there staring out at the rock we had just conquered - was still shaking well into the night- we all take risks in our lives , some are easier or safer than others, regardless –its those moments were its time to put your money where your mouth is, and there’s no way down but to jump, were you can feel all the joy of the world throughout your body-replacing fear - and spilling out of you like a volcano- and you realize why your alive -
