cant wait for the thirteenth to listen to the whole thing i know it will be the best of 2010 and i am not going to compare this to any other circa album i will just enjoy it for what it is. Perfection.

call it unimaginative, mainstream, or whatever. there's just a lot less dissonance in their melodies. it's got more 'typical' songwriting structure. some people call that selling out. some call it easier to listen to. i don't care either way. it's not timeless or anything. but it's solid.

A Problem is that people hype things up so much, I have myself I honestly feel like in this album Circa grew as a whole and I enjoy listening to these 2 songs so much the best thing about this is what Anthony said even if know one likes it they'll continue writing music and songs. Inspiring.

I really don't understand why everybody is so against the new stuff. It has many reminiscent aspects of it dating all way back to Juturna. Just because, in particular, Get Out is more of an "in your face" kind of song doesnt mean they have gone mainstream. Along the same lines, just because a band changes their sound up a little doesnt mean they have gone mainstream either. If Circa pumped out albums with the exact same sound on them, instead of bitching about mainstream qualities, you'd be on here bitching that they never do anything new.

On a non-soap box note: Amazing stuff guys, love the new tunes and I cant get of this page. I think I'm up to 76 plays of both :) keep it up! I already have mine pre-ordered from itunes. Only problem is I'm coming to see you and Coheed on the 24th. That only gives me 4 days to learn all the lyrics so I can sing along with AG! Can't wait guys!

this song is so rad i dunno what the big deal is. you know the same people who are saying bad shit are still the one's who already have tickets to the show in their hometown and check the site everyday for new shit. don't act like this music isn't amazing. shit

I think people need to just listen to these songs for what they are instead of trying to figure out what their intentions are for writing something different. I honestly don't hear anything in either of these two songs that makes me believe they're trying to go mainstream. If they are, big deal. As long as they're not sacrificing their musical integrity to get there I don't see it as a problem. When your music is your career, and what pays your bills, you have to do certain things to insure that you'll have the money to support yourself and your music.

I cant even begin to think of the amount of work this album took you guys. Ive only heard two songs and its perfect. The sound is new and I will admit I was skeptical for all of 5 seconds. but the sound is most definitely circa survive. and thats all a fan could ask for. These guys are heros in the face of music. Thank you so much for making my life less dull. And for anybody confused with mainstream and circa. You need to listen again. There is a huge difference between perfection and mainstream. So for everyone who feels special about themselves when they get to pick apart every new album that comes across and yell to their fake friends "mainstream!! its mainstream!!" you need a better hobby. Cant wait to hear the rest of this album

many bands do want to become more mainstream...
BUT.. i don't believe its the case with them.
i definitely see simple progression from older songs yet with the sound of "old" circa still existing and kicking us in the head...
not my favorite song but then again.. i only heard it like 3 times.
compare this to other bands and you'll see that circa is way better...
i loved "get out", so i believe that just as i liked some songs better then others in "Juturna" or in "on letting go", i would prefer other songs in "blue sky noise"

    oh and definitely not bullshit!

    p.s:
circa- please help your Israeli fans and bring your Cd's here!!! how can i own a recored of yours if i cant even buy it?!

you guys are now generic/mainstream. i dont understand why all bands want to sound the same and want to go into this mainstream bullshit.

I think its just gonna take a while to get used to the new direction Circa has taken. All the fans of the old stuff, like me, probably are feeling like something is missing from what we've heard so far, but the more I listen to Get Out and Imaginary Enemy, the more it grows on me.

There is no doubt in my mind that this album will be amazing, and will definitely be the best album of the 2010. The level of creativity, both lyrically and musically, is on a higher level than anything else that has come out in a long time.Personally, I just can't wait to hear the recorded version of frozen creek.

Anyways, regardless of what Circa does they will always be my favorite band. Even if this album doesnt live up to the crazy standards I've set, which I believe it will, there will always be Juturna and On Letting Go to look back on. Those two albums will never leave my top 5 all time, without a doubt.
